COVID INFORMATION

Welcome/Croeso

It's so nice to be able to welcome our guests back. What a journey it has been, and we hope you and your family have stayed safe and well.

Myself, Simon and Gwenda, our housekeeper have been working hard to ensure we are able to open safely and we are now good to go. We still want to be able to deliver on all the little extras and homely touches our guests love and hope we have now got a nice balance.

Some things have changed, and we'd really appreciate you playing your part in keeping yourselves and us safe and sound by following a few rules and requests during your stay with us.

So, here goes.............

We have implemented the following to ensure you can relax and enjoy your long-awaited break.

To keep contact to a minimum, there will be a key safe by the front door and we will have given you the key code in our welcome pack sent via email.

We have installed an external hand sanitiser dispenser by the front door for your use.

(LAKELAND -  Vegan hand sanitiser is tested to EN1276 and EN1500, sanitizer hand gel with 70% ethanol content ensures quick effective hand sanitisation).

We have upgraded our cleaning products and now use disinfectants approved by global health agencies to help prevent and lower the risk and spread of COVID-19. We have given our housekeeper, hospital grade products, of disposable aprons, gloves, face masks and shoe covers.

We use the following cleaning products: -

ONECHEMPLUS ALL CLEAR SURFACE CLEANER

(Tested to BS EN 14476, BS EN 1276 and BS EN 13697)

Virusol Biocidal Skin & Surface Sanitising & Hygiene Spray - Medical Grade

(Fabric and Upholstery Disinfectant (EN1276 & EN14476)

All high-touch surfaces have been sanitised, such as door handles, light switches, remote controls, kitchen cabinet handles, worktops, bin lids, handrails and bannisters.

We have removed half of the scatter cushions from the sofas, maintaining a good level of comfort for our guests but this enables us to rotate and wash the cushion covers in-between guests.

We now request that you bring your own bedding/towels and tea towels.

All our mattress and pillow protectors are freshly laundered at 60C after each guest.

All our Duvets have protectors on them and are stored for 7 days before placing back on the beds.

We are providing extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay.

Whilst many of our regular guests know we love to keep our food store cupboard well stocked; we can now only leave essentials only. All these will be rotated for guests use to ensure they are safe

ON ARRIVAL AND DURING YOUR STAY:

Due to the additional cleaning procedures in place you will not be able to arrive at the

cottage until 5pm at the very earliest.

Please use the hand sanitiser by the front door EVERY time you enter the cottage.

We want you to feel at home and enjoy yourselves but please continue to follow Government guidance, such as washing your hands more often and whilst out and about the

2m social distancing rule still applies in Wales.

We do request, where possible to clean as you stay, just as you would at home.

Please try and air the cottage as much as possible.

IMPORTANT – Please note that in the event that you develop COVID-19 related symptoms during your stay, you will need to notify us immediately, you will all be asked to quarantine with the intention of leaving the property at the earliest opportunity to return home.
