Self Catering Accommodation
Perfect for exploring the beautiful Lleyn Peninsula and Snowdonia area.
Our child and pet-friendly cottage is situated in the historical village of Nefyn on the beautiful Lleyn Peninsula. The cottage is one of four terraced properties that were built in the 1840s. In tribute to Nefyn’s maritime history, the cottages are linked together by a ship mast that runs through the eaves of each property.
Over 3 generations of our family have been visiting Nefyn for the last 50 years and it is a place that is very close to our hearts. We were, therefore, thrilled when the opportunity arose to buy our own property in 2007. Shortly after completing our renovations, we began to welcome people into the cottage from 2011. It has always been our hope that visitors to the cottage will love the property and area as much as we do.
The Lleyn Peninsula is renowned for its breathtaking views; it is often referred to as the arm of Snowdonia. The headland is renowned for its wild and rugged landscape, with the celebrated mountain range dominating the horizon. The quiet, secluded bays and golden sandy beaches are never too far away- a perfect location for romantic walks, adventurous hikes. Nefyn is also known for having one of the only golf courses in the world with an ocean view on every hole.
Our cottage is only a 10-minute drive away from the course and a number of other family-friendly activities.
The cottage itself has been fully renovated to a high standard and boasts a log burning stove for cosy winter nights, as well as a garden at the front for summer barbecues. The cottage is fully equipped for families with small children, including a travel cot, 2 stair gates, baby bath, high chair, bed guard, booster dining chair, fireguard and stroller. There is also a new children's playground a 3-minute walk from the property. We have taken great care to make your stay as comfortable as possible and always welcome feedback from our visitors after each visit.
